Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026. Updated October 19, 2026
QuitCallingMe is operated by Brim Consulting LLC, doing business as Rhetoric First, based in Kernersville, North Carolina ("we", "us"). QuitCallingMe helps you keep an organized record of unwanted calls. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your screenshots stay on your device, we keep only what you choose to save, we never sell your information, and you can delete it any time.
Your screenshots
Screenshots you add are read inside your own web browser. The images are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Only the text you review and choose to save (such as phone numbers, dates, times, caller labels and voicemail transcripts) is stored.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored by our sign-in provider in scrambled (hashed) form; we can't see them.
- Your call log: the call rows you save or import, including numbers, dates, times, caller labels, voicemail transcripts, any notes you add, and your answers in the call script (such as the company name a caller gave you).
- Attorney packet details (optional): your name, the phone number that gets the calls, your mailing address, a contact email, and your answers to the optional questions. These are used only to fill in your packet.
- Feedback you send: your message and, if you give it, your email address.
- Basic technical data: our hosting and database providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of a request) for security and troubleshooting.
If you use QuitCallingMe without an account, your log and details are kept only in that browser on that device and are never sent to us.
How we use it
- To run the service: show your log, build your summaries and attorney packet, and keep your data in sync across your devices.
- To send account emails, such as confirming your email, a welcome note and password resets.
- To answer questions and feedback, and to fix problems.
We don't sell your information, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't share your call log with anyone unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
Shared patterns (off by default)
Settings has a switch to include your calls in shared spam patterns. It is off unless you turn it on, and nothing is shared today. If this feature launches, it will only count spam numbers and callback numbers across people who opted in, never your name, your own number or your transcripts.
Who helps us run QuitCallingMe
We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (website hosting), Resend (sending account emails), Google Workspace (our hello@quitcallingme.com inbox) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (counting page visits). They may only use your data to provide their service to us. Your data is stored in the United States.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session and, if you use QuitCallingMe without an account, your log, so the site works when you come back.
Visit counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits and see which pages and links bring people to the site. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't identify individual visitors. It never sees your call log, screenshots or account details.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data until you delete it. In Settings you can delete your call log, or delete your whole account, which removes your account, call log and packet details right away. Copies in our providers' routine backups are removed as those backups expire, typically within a few weeks. You can also email hello@quitcallingme.com and we'll delete it for you.
Your choices and rights
You can see, export (Export for Excel), correct and delete your data yourself at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access or delete personal information. Email us and we'll help.
Security
Your data is sent over encrypted connections, and each person's records are locked so only their own account can read them. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password you don't use elsewhere.
Children
QuitCallingMe is meant for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know by email.
